The location is fantastic, tucked into a quiet little square in the old town. It’s easy to find and check in. The hosts were wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was heavenly! The place is spotless.

“Lovely quirky room in an old city townhouse close to Bari Cathedral”

Borgo Fontana sits in a superb spot just inside the Old City Walls, only a few hundred yards from Bari Cathedral Square. The second‑floor room was quirky with a lovely balcony overlooking the pretty courtyard, and the Italian bathroom featured a walk‑in shower. Rosa and Giuseppe were fantastic hosts who did everything they could to make us feel welcome. They served a delicious cooked breakfast with bruschetta, eggs, fresh fruit, pastries, and plenty of cappuccino—the best breakfast I’ve had in Puglia! We had a later flight and appreciated being able to leave our bags safely in the house so we could explore the city during our one‑night stay.

“Wonderful stay at a lovely B&B!”

I stayed in a lovely B&B in the old town of Bari, where the room on the 2nd level was extremely comfortable and well appointed, and the breakfast was lovely. Rosa’s communication was excellent and the place was impeccably clean. It’s very close to a taxi pickup and drop‑off point, though the narrow staircases can be tricky if you have heavy or large luggage. Overall, a wonderful stay—thanks to Rosa and her brother!

“A lovely stay!!”

The property sits in Bari’s historic centre, and wandering the maze of streets was a lot of fun. My room was very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows, and the owners served a delicious breakfast each morning while being very friendly and welcoming. The stairs were rather steep, so carrying a suitcase up two flights was a little challenging, and I had to use Google Maps to find the location because Apple Maps was a bit hopeless.
