Vivanta is a nice, modern hotel with well‑lit, spacious rooms. Breakfast is excellent, and there’s a good restaurant on the top floor. Overall a very pleasant stay. The staff are efficient and friendly.

Amazing. We liked it so much we extended our stay. Our travel plans changed halfway through, so we stayed longer, and the staff were very accommodating. We brought our niece for breakfast a few mornings and there were no problems, which is rare nowadays. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a slightly quieter area of Kathmandu, away from busy Thamel, yet still a 5‑10 minute bike ride to the bustling city centre.

The room was tiny, the furniture was awful, and that’s not what you expect from a Taj group. The room and basic facilities were disappointing.
