“En medio de la naturaleza con tu mascota”
I was traveling with my cat and we were welcomed very warmly. The guy and the lady running the hostel were very kind and helpful. It’s a good spot for traveling with a pet. The setting is very peaceful, mountain‑like, with no annoying noises. I would always choose the balcony rooms because they face the river; it’s very calming to see the water flow and hear it in the morning. Breakfast seemed adequate. Sweet options included pastries (magdalenas, croissants), toast with jam, butter or Nutella, and savory choices (my favorites) with local meats like bull negre, llonganissa, fuet, bull blanc, and semi‑hard cheese. There were teas of all kinds, plant milks, coffee, Colacao… the hotel staff served it. Dinner was delicious; you could tell they know how to cook, and I liked the stewed rabbit and the “platillo”.
They don’t provide body cream or toothbrushes, which are usually given in hostels and found in the room bathroom. It would be nice to offer some kind of amenity for guests who don’t bring their own toothbrush, toothpaste, or body cream. They also don’t offer anything for pets (blankets, water bowls, feeders, etc.). It would be good if they offered some pet treat, even for a fee. In breakfast, the cheese offered was adequate but insufficient for me (especially given the mountain area with great cheeses). I’d like more options; I prefer a more aged sheep cheese. There was no fresh juice.
