The room was nicely decorated and made good use of the limited space – a shower and sink but no full bath. It’s right across from the bus stop and only a short walk to La Roche’s charming cafés and the romantic castle. The downside? The street is noisy, the Wi‑Fi was missing, and I had a nightmare with my credit card being blocked after a hacking scare – no help from the owner and no apology.

Check‑in was straightforward and the location is solid. Unfortunately, the place itself was far from clean – a real let‑down.

Air conditioning would have been a lifesaver on those hot days. I thought parking was free, but it’s only that between 7 pm and 8 am.
