Beautiful property situated in a very serene area. Old school rooms matching the history of the property which felt super charming! Beautiful pool area. And finally, amazing, friendly staff!. We were unfortunately not super impressed by the so called spa area. And we also felt like the property missed a more elevated restaurant and breakfast buffet. It’s such a beautiful property but it felt a bit worn out; furniture and pool side parasols etc. If the above points were upgraded we would feel like it was worth the money which we unfortunately didn’t feel it was now
“Peace, good food, comfortable bed and lovely setting. Could happily have stayed longer.”
The stay was incredibly peaceful and the service was helpful and smiley—printing a colour document for free is rare—and the dinner was delicious, the pool was great and longer than average so I could swim some lengths, the super king bed was lovely and the air‑con was adequate in the hot weather, and I loved the unobtrusive service—no pool service but it makes it so peaceful, though the coffee at breakfast was DIY from a machine, the bathrooms need upgrading or at least some handles for getting in and out of the bath since we didn’t have a separate shower, the lighting in the bathroom and bedrooms was dismal, and the Wi‑Fi was excellent, which was crucial for my work.

The property is beautiful with lovely grounds and a peaceful pool area; our suite was large, comfortable, and relaxing, the massage was excellent, and the staff were wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay, yet breakfast could definitely be improved: although many options were available, items were not always replenished later in the service, the cooked‑to‑order eggs were consistently overcooked and rubbery, and the bacon was extremely tough, which made us hesitant to try dinner at the property, and the final stretch of road leading to the property is in terrible condition with deep potholes and severe bumps and dips, which was surprising given the quality of the property.
