The staff were courteous and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was delicious, yet the space for the treats was too cramped in one corner and should be reconsidered.

The hotel’s central location and easy access to Geiseltalsee are great, and short‑stay destinations like Naumburg and Freyburg are worth visiting; however, we had to set up our own breakfast dishes, which was a first for us.

Breakfast was pretty good, featuring local (sausage) specialties, and I chose the fried egg, which was tasty; I didn’t try the on‑site restaurant because on weekends guests can’t order à la carte—only a 3‑course menu (with meat, fish, or vegetarian options for guests) or a 5‑ or 7‑course menu by pre‑order—and the mattress in my single room was very hard.
