Dinner was very good, I enjoyed a tomato salad with cheese - then had garlic prawns with chips - along side a nice glass of Malbec. The prawns were delicious and nicely presented. In the morning I ordered a pot of tea with the full English Breakfast, it was piping hot, and well presented and cooked well. I booked to eat in the restaurant at 7.30. I arrived at 7.20 and informed that the restaurant was full, so as an alternative would I mind eating in the bar area - which wasn't a disaster, but. it was not what I expected

“A comfy overnight stay. Great value for money”

Breakfast was superb for the great price. We stayed one night on a Sunday, which was a bargain. The hotel was tucked away and we got lost; the map is confusing even with Satnav and the lanes are tricky.

The hotel experience was pleasant; we returned because we liked our last stay. The restaurant and service were very good. The room and bathroom fell short of the price compared to our previous visit. A wedding was happening, so we felt a bit deprioritised, and the bathroom was especially disappointing with a partially blocked sink and a shower tray that let water spill onto the floor.

“Really nice cosy hotel”

Cozy atmosphere. Breakfast didn’t start until 07:30, which was inconvenient for work.

Nice grounds and a welcoming receptionist. The small room was pricey, but the bathroom was fine.
