They cancelled my booking before I even got to the airport. The hotel said they were charging less than the platform, so they didn’t honor the agreement. No explanation, just a straight‑up cancellation.

Had a confirmed reservation from June 3 for a 2 pm check‑in on the 15th. Arrived, the front desk lady said the hotel was full. I showed her the digital confirmation, she even texted the owner, but he told her not to let me in because there was no room. I ended up on the street, had to find another place that cost more. Totally unacceptable.

Room was pretty cute, clean, and comfy. Staff were super attentive. The common areas looked nice, and the dining space was a treat. And the little cat, Kitty, was just the sweetest thing.

Heating worked, and a kind lady greeted us on the first day—she was the only one we saw after that. But the rest? The staff started yelling early in the morning, laundry was a mess (soap on the clothes, we had to lift them from a rope), and when I asked for a full cup of hot water for tea, they gave me a sliver of a cup. They tried to charge us 600 k pesos for 22 days just because we wanted to stay until the end of the month.

Not too far from the city center, and the owner was friendly. But the front desk staff’s attitude left something to be desired. We spotted spider webs and the bathroom wasn’t clean enough.
