The breakfast was well‑made and lovingly prepared, and I enjoyed the interesting stories about the life of a sailor from Sejtze; the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The entire upper floor was available for two rooms, with shower, toilet, dining area, unlimited coffee and tea, and the beds were wonderful with a great breakfast. It sits next to a church whose bells ring loudly.

The location is within a 10‑minute walk to the center of Hollum, and if you walk the other way for 10 minutes you’ll be on the dike overlooking the mudflats. The host was friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was complete, just like the room. There was nothing really wrong, but it would be nice to have bicycles available so you wouldn’t have to rent them separately; cycling around Ameland is wonderful.

I loved the location and the host, but the shared bathroom was a bit disappointing—though it looked gorgeous.
