The staff were very friendly, the pool was dirty, the rooms were a good size, but it felt like camping in the mountains.

“Incredibly peaceful, great mountain views, comfortable beds! But rent a car or scooter”

The staff were helpful whenever I needed a ride to the beach or a nearby restaurant—though the on‑site Italian restaurant is now closed. The manager even offered me one of their scooters. I enjoyed the mountain view and the quietness of the place. Breakfast featured mango from the giant tree beside the main house, the best mango I’ve ever tasted, but I still brought my own “real” coffee and milk. Because of the view, I often worked in the dining room and no one asked me to leave. My return flight to Bangkok was in the evening, and I was allowed to keep my room until a pickup past 4 pm. However, the bungalow I received was not the one I had booked; I chose it partly for the Italian restaurant, so the description should be updated. Clean‑up wasn’t automatic—I had to request bin emptying. The pool was in a horrible state, likely because the filtration system hadn’t been turned on in a while; it felt like swimming in a pond. The attendant only set up sun umbrellas for people he seemed to know who drove over to the pool during Songkran, otherwise I had to ask. The pool furniture was not in good shape.

The staff were kind. The pool water was murky and the tap water was brown.

Endroit magnifique, calme absolue, un bonheur pour les enfants. Très chouette rencontre avec la population sur place. Déjeuner au top et personnel très sympathique même si ne parle pas anglais
