Tandem Guesthouse

The rooms were wonderful, each with a nice terrace in front. Even a refrigerator, cutting board, and knife were provided, something we hadn't seen in any other Sri Lankan rooms. The breakfast was WOW.

“Fantastisch guesthouse midden in Hikkaduwa! Aanrader.”

We had two neat, clean, spacious rooms with air conditioning, a fan, and a mosquito net. The large bathroom had a separate toilet and a shower cubicle with wonderful hot water and good spray. There was also a covered outdoor seat outside the room. Many mosquitoes, but not annoying. The owner was friendly. The guesthouse is in the middle of Hikkaduwa, close to the sea, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommended.

“wspaniałe wakacje”

We really enjoyed the breakfasts, the location was great, just a few steps across the street to a beautiful beach with stunning views, and excellent restaurants at reasonable prices. The room was very clean, with white, very clean bedding. We requested an airport transfer and everything was arranged. We had a wonderful rest at Tandem Guesthouse, for which we are very grateful.

Sunil is a super friendly host who goes out of his way to make guests feel comfortable and is always helpful; the breakfast is excellent. Some might find the location directly on the street a bit annoying—this was not a big issue for us.
