Altstadt‑Pension Koch occupies a historic Goslar building with a garden and terrace for relaxation. Family rooms feature tea/coffee makers, hairdryers, sofa beds, free toiletries, seating areas, TVs and wardrobes. Situated under 1 km from the Imperial Palace, a 4‑minute walk to Old Town, near Weberturm and 38 km from Harz National Park. Free Wi‑Fi, bicycle parking, praised host and breakfast offering.

The place was spotless and the staff were excellent, though it had a nice old‑world charm.

The morning buffet was good, and there was no food waste because we chose what we wanted the day before. The courtyard garden was lovely, with plenty of bird song, sun and shade. The location was in Altstadt, close to restaurants, shops and sights. The host fulfilled all our wishes.

The location right in the city centre was great. The house looked small at first but turned out to be much larger, with crooked and slanted walls and floors as expected of an old half‑timbered house, which we found very cool. The breakfast concept was good and the breakfast itself was good too. Nothing negative comes to mind.

A nice little guesthouse in the fantastic old town of Goslar. Parking is available and it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the centre. The charm of this lovingly restored half‑timbered house shows itself on every floor, for example in the furnishings of the breakfast room or the decoration in the stairwell. We spent three days exploring Goslar here, very tastefully furnished. Definitely recommended.
