“Relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle.”

It was very relaxing, like a bushveld escape; the facilities were decent and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed seeing more stars than in the city and the zipline was close by. The pans were a bit dated and need replacement, and they’re too small, especially when you have to prep breakfast for the family.

“A Peaceful Bush Retreat We’ll Definitely Return To”

A wonderfully relaxing bush getaway that still offers nearby shops for basics. The unit and area are beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. The accommodation is simple but spotless and fully equipped. Our host was fantastic—friendly, welcoming, and gave great tips on places to visit, plus warned us about mischievous baboons and monkeys; luckily we didn’t get any surprise visits. The whole estate is off‑grid, so watch your electricity use; the unit’s smaller solar system means high‑power appliances like hairdryers, heaters, and portable ACs can’t be used, but it’s not a huge problem.

“Refreshing but not the best.”

It’s away from the busy world and very quiet, giving proper peace of mind. The gravel was long, there was no door for the upstairs, and there was no electricity.

“The stay was spoiled by the unreliable solar system.”

The spot was great, but the solar system broke down and the chalet needed repairs. The host helped a lot with the dead solar battery, yet the lights only lasted a few hours, ruining the peaceful getaway vibe and forcing me to keep reaching out. I’d not recommend this unit and would actually ask for a partial refund.
