The value for money was great, they really helped us at the edge of the world, cheap but clean.

I liked having somewhere to sleep, but the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, the bed had old mattresses, and the noisy front door kept slamming.

“Najhoršia skúsenosť na Slovensku”

Nothing positive at all. The staff made me wait 20 minutes for someone to open the door, and a reluctant old woman came to pick me up. I had booked a room with a double bed, but she asked why I needed a single bed and tried to move me into a twin room, insisting I sleep on just one bed. She clearly didn’t want to clean. The whole place feels uninvested since the Slovak Republic was founded. The curtains were yellowed, the mattresses sagged (you could feel the springs), the tiles in the bathroom were peeling and yellowed, and the balcony door wouldn’t let a 120 kg man pass. There was no trash bin on the balcony. Cleanliness was “wet equals clean”; the bathroom had chemicals poured in, but no one bothered to rinse or flush them.
