Two restaurants serve locally sourced dishes with extensive wine lists, while a resident pianist plays requested songs. The Residents Lounge overlooks Loch Ryan. Five minutes walk to Stranraer town centre, ancient castle, cafés, shops, and frequent ferries to Belfast.

The room was comfortable and turned out to be more spacious than I expected. The location was excellent, close to the ferry, and parking was easy even when arriving late. Breakfast and dinner were good. Nothing negative.
