Located 15 minutes from Skaftafell National Park and 3 km from Ingolfshöfdi Cape, it provides easy access to hiking, ice‑caving, glacier tours, Jökulsárlón Lagoon (37 km) and Svartifoss waterfall (21 km).

Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly. The room was a bit small.

Breakfast buffet was good. The room was small, cold, and had a damp smell; heating was minimal. There was no wardrobe or other storage for clothes. The hanger between the room entrance and the bathroom was awkward and kept getting hit by hanging items. Poor value for money, even for Iceland. I would not return.

The hotel’s location is great, which probably explains its steep price. The price is very high and the breakfast isn’t anything special.
