The accommodation is very beautiful and extremely clean, the location is superb, the host is very friendly, and the breakfast is great; we definitely recommend the Landhof Burkhardt!

We stayed two nights at the Barock-Landhof Burkhardt in Spitz, a remarkably quiet estate with a large, park-like garden; only later did we learn how old the house really is—parts date back to the 12th century, originally a wine‑growing farm of the Niederalteich monastery, and in the 16th century the manor was baroque‑styled and gained its majestic, almost castle‑like character.

The room is beautiful, the welcome is warm, the breakfast is lovely, but there are few interesting eateries in the town itself.

“Very warm and friendly hosts. Clean and spacious. Overlooking orchard and well kept grounds. Very nice!”

The rural setting is lovely and elegant, and the apartment is spacious, but I didn’t realize a small load of laundry would cost 7 €—I should have asked!
