The resort feels nature‑friendly and I’d love to return. The breakfast and dinner buffet menus need more variety.

“It was okay but probably wouldn’t stay again”

The location and views are great, but the bathroom layout is annoying—shower above the tub so everything gets soaked. The beds feel like rocks.

“Amazing and memorable visit in Cat Ba Flamingo hotel”

One of the best hotels we stayed at in Vietnam: spacious rooms, helpful staff, and great facilities. Mai was wonderful, arranging a cake for our daughter’s birthday and answering all our questions—thanks, Mai! The sea view, sunsets, and sunrises from the room were breathtaking, and I’ll definitely come back to Cat Ba. The restaurant, aside from the amazing breakfasts, had a few lunch order errors, forgot our drinks, and seemed disorganized, though they offered a free fruit plate for the mishaps. This was our only visit; there are plenty of other restaurants in the town center.

“We had a nice stay but there’s room for improvement”

The beach access is great, there are several pools, and the games center kept the kids busy. Breakfast was decent. Check‑in was disorganized and slow, and overall service was inconsistent at best.

Great spot, roomy and comfy, spotlessly clean, buffet breakfast was solid, facilities were good, but there was no place to hang wet clothes.
