The host, Francisco, was super friendly and helpful, even though I was thousands of kilometers away. He assisted my mother and friends with a special situation that happened elsewhere, and I had to resolve it from Costa Rica. The place is gorgeous and met all expectations.

The cabin’s location is great, with a beautiful view of Calima Lake, and Francisco was very attentive to our needs, but the kitchen was missing some utensils.

“No recomendado”

Only the pool looked nice; the staff who handed us the keys were indifferent and unwilling to help or fix issues, the social play area had been neglected for a while with trash from previous guests, all the buildings were rustic, no towel or shower soap was provided even though there was a liquid soap holder, and the mattresses and towels were uncomfortable.

Putting a few mattresses on the floor isn’t enough to provide accommodation; there was zero comfort.

They should be clearer with guests because some of us paid for everything; the beds were super uncomfortable and more organization is needed, but the best part was Mrs. Ximena who was attentive. Overall I’d give it a 5 out of 10.
