The staff were kind and courteous. Nothing else.

“110.00 euro. Un furto”

Nothing. The place was abandoned and closed.

“Un hôtel comme nous les aimons”

Monumento Hotel is a hotel with character. It’s not a 4‑star, but that’s balanced by: they speak French; a professional and very friendly reception; the room was ready at 12:41; good bedding; an excellent dinner; a superb breakfast; free parking closed by an electric gate; a 300 m walk to Chartreuse de Pavie. Arriving is easy: at the central traffic light of Certosa di Pavia, turn right. Take the first left road toward Villanova de Beretti. The hotel is on the left side, 100 m after the big parking, just before the “Villanova” sign. Two photos of Chartreuse de Pavie from the hotel room.

“Not again👎🏻”

The place is large, the lady owner was very nice but the employee was less than helpful to a couple with disabilities like us🥲 Overcharged for the paucity of service. The employee showed no respect for an elderly couple tired after a long journey & forced us to change tables for bkfast , because that table apparently was not set up wno for bkfst, although it looked it to us She offered no help in our moving tables & was very disagreeable, not tge start of a gt holiday Also the hotel we chose originally had no wifi( which we requested & were promised by Booking. com. & the price had gone up by 20€!! Not acceptable. Sorry
