“Clean and comfortable with exceptionally friendly staff.”
A perfectly good place to stay for one or two nights. Everything was clean and the staff were extremely friendly and polite. I had made a mistake with my booking dates, but it was no problem at all to extend my stay for another night and keep the same room, which I really appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked well. The main downside was the noise from the reception area. The TV there was often playing religious broadcasts quite loudly, and I sometimes had to turn on my own TV simply to avoid hearing it continuously in my room. Kota Bharu itself was also not particularly interesting to me as a destination. I mainly used it as a convenient overnight stop rather than somewhere I would choose to spend several days
