The highlight was the terrace view, but the rest was a let‑down. The pool wasn’t heated and was littered with leaves and other debris. Cleanliness overall was poor, with a damp/musty odor in the whole guesthouse and even on the bed linen, bedding and towels. The towels often smelled like they hadn’t dried properly and stayed damp too long. We asked for daily towel changes, but that only happened twice and on the last day none were changed. Talking to the cleaning staff was nearly impossible because they didn’t speak English, so simple requests were hard to convey. In short, the view was nice but the pool, smell, cleanliness and communication ruined the stay.
