Sun Mountain Lodge, located in Winthrop, WA, is a PNW icon offering two restaurants, a Spa, and miles of hiking, skiing, and biking trails. The activities center features seasonal activities like mountain bikes, fly fishing trips, and horse riding. The lodge offers cross-country skiing, ski rentals, and lessons in winter, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool, electric car charging station, and in-room safe.

Fantastic location, very cozy, well maintained, everything was well thought out. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!. Nothing. Everything was perfect for us!

I fell in love with this place during a two‑night stay; our suite (room 115) was flawless with an amazing view. The lodge is a hidden gem offering exemplary service, perfect décor and no TV by design—just look outside! The activity list was superb (biking, horse riding, tennis, spa…) and the two pools with their hot tubs will win you over. The restaurant was spot‑on, matching the overall vibe.

The cocktails were amazing! The shower was big and fancy but the water pressure was low and it wasn’t practical because there was no place to put anything.
