“A lovely place to stay in Toyooka”

The house feels like a clever makeover, beautifully decorated and fully modern, yet the stairs up to the living room and bedroom can be a challenge for seniors, those unfit, or anyone lugging big luggage; we only had backpacks so it worked for us, but carrying large suitcases up would be tough (though you can leave them downstairs where there’s plenty of room).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay; the whole apartment was beautifully modern and immaculately clean, the reception staff were warm and welcoming, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Its location was perfect—right by the train station yet surprisingly quiet—and we were even able to add breakfast later, which was freshly prepared each morning. Everything was simply excellent!

“Fabulous stay”

I really liked how cozy it felt and the modern amenities in the old building, though the ground floor was a bit dark.

“Beautiful boutique property with lots of unique character.”

The boutique spot is stunning, full of unique Japanese charm and thoughtful details, super comfy and a perfect unwind place, the kitchen is well equipped, the deep soaking bath is breathtaking, it’s a short walk to Toyooka Station and Kinosaki Onsen and easily reachable by train, making it a solid alternative to staying in Kinosaki Onsen; the property also has a sister hotel a few minutes away with a guest lounge and bar, breakfast was excellent, and the staff helped with recommendations and restaurant bookings.

The room is beautiful, though the dining area lacks natural light; the provided yukatas are very comfortable. The breakfast is good but limited in choice, and there’s no laundry machine.
