Located 250 m from Palma’s port in a historic Mallorcan house, Hostal Pons offers a garden, terrace, and traditional‑style rooms with 19th‑century décor, private or shared bathrooms, and complimentary Wi‑Fi, sheets, and towels. Within five minutes’ walk are bars, restaurants, and the Lonja fish market; the cathedral, Almudaina Palace, and Arabic Baths lie nearby, while beaches are a short drive away. Bike rentals and a nearby airport bus stop add convenience.

I liked the authentic vibe, the setting, the calm, the discretion, the welcome, the cleanliness, and the sense of security. Everything else was fine.

The spot was spot on, but we stayed three nights and only got one towel for showering that never got replaced, so we had to reuse it every day—definitely a downside. The room itself wasn’t cleaned, which was disappointing, especially since that wasn’t mentioned beforehand.

We came with friends for a weekend just to chill and keep the budget tight, so we only used shared bathrooms. The location is great, the staff is great, the building is great, and don’t expect luxury, but it’s clean and nice. The price feels super good—great value.
