Canby is a small but pleasant city, and this hotel sits within walking distance of everything in town, making it a solid choice if you need to stay in Canby. The downside is the walls are pretty thin, so you can hear a lot of what’s happening around you.

The place was simple, clean, and comfortable, and I felt safe. However, I had to check in at about 11 pm and I think I woke up the staff; he wasn’t friendly and I was worried he might turn me away. I’m a mature female traveling alone, and the entrance to the office was hard to maneuver. It wasn’t easy to get to the door, and then he didn’t open it but just took my ID and credit card through a metal door. He didn’t speak English well and got mad when I couldn’t understand him.

The location is close to the center. The reception staff were very rude, and there was a strong curry-like odor at the reception.
