Arriving, they handed out popcorn, water, and cookies, and every floor had a washer and ice machine. The room was spacious and spotless, and the bacon at breakfast was the best of the trip. To get to the square you need a car, though it’s only a two‑minute walk, and the area is so quiet you can’t hear the train at all.

On a 9‑state road trip this spot was among the cleanest and the staff the nicest; I’d stay here again for sure.

The hotel sits close to the capitol building, but the neighborhood isn’t ideal for a stroll and the bed frame made a squeaking sound.
