This King Room has a garden view and sleeps 2 guests. The room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee maker, and iron, as well as heating and a telephone. The private bathroom features a bathtub, shower, and hairdryer, and also includes a walk-in closet and wardrobe or closet. The room has a fold-up bed and cribs are available, with hypoallergenic linens and towels provided.

“Just what could possibly hope for.”
The staff were welcoming, attentive and very personable, and the food was exceptionally good with delicious, well‑sized portions, but we wish we could have stayed longer!

“Mooie wandel omgeving”
The large bed and large bathroom (though unfortunately the shower was in the bath) were positives, but the ceilings were all very low, and because we are tall we had to bend a lot through the big location.
“We would love to stay again for a longer time—perfect place to explore the moors & see the sights.”
The inn’s thatched roofs and original timber interiors, with beautiful wood floors, cozy furnishings, cushions and throws, made it feel homey and inviting; the beds and seating were comfortable, the food wonderful, the reception warm, and the staff made special efforts to welcome us—everything we could like, nothing to dislike.

The location was beautiful, the historic pub lovely and welcoming, and the staff—especially Ollie—were fantastic; the room was super‑sized with a very comfortable bed and plenty of hot water for the bath, and the evening meal was excellent for a reasonable price, so we’d love to return, and there was nothing to note otherwise.
