The pool was fantastic after a tough day of hikes, and the breakfast gave me the energy I needed with pancakes or toast, a fruit plate, and coffee or tea. The only downside was the monkeys—since the hotel borders the sacred monkey forest, the staff have to shoo them away so you can enjoy your stay.

Seeing the monkeys was a nice touch, and the hotel’s location is convenient. However, the room was filthy, with blood stains on the walls and curtains, and the bathroom and shower appeared never cleaned, with grime around the toilet. A cockroach was in the room, and the sheets and bath towels had a strong odor.

“Perfect location, good price and superb staff!”

The location, value, and friendly staff were great. The toilet sits next to the shower, which is uncomfortable, and the floor is always wet.

“amazing”

The host was wonderful, and the place is amazing for a stay in Ubud. The location is perfect—close to the main street yet far enough to be quiet. The rooms were clean and the garden beautiful. In the garden you can find wild animals like monkeys or lizards, and during our stay we also saw two sweet kittens. The breakfast might feel a bit bland for some, but for us it was sufficient and really good.
