The staff were friendly, the convenience was great, and the breakfast was wonderful.

The environment was calm and the food quality was good, yet the price was too high for the service offered; the staff were 5‑star but still a bit lacking, the breakfast line was long, the dishes had too much olive oil, check‑in was rushed and careless, they never asked if we needed help with luggage or followed up to the room, rooms had no satellite TV, only streaming for subscribers. The hotel is fantastic but falls short on small details that differentiate it in its segment.

“Fotografias excelentes mas que não reoreeentam o hotel atual”

The hotel suffered from poor maintenance and hygiene; the toilet with extra functions didn’t work, the room and pool area were dirty (the pool had green patches and corners were badly cleaned). I stayed two days and water wasn’t replenished. The windows were poorly cleaned, the floor was equally dirty. There was an outdoor area with beds that were filthy with bird droppings and already broken. For a stay where I paid over 700€ for two days, it was far below expectations.

“Não entendo como este hotel tem 5 estrelas.”

The staff understood when I asked for a refund after checking out. The equipment was broken, there was little greenery and it felt very dry, my room was poorly cleaned, the mobile network was bad, the Wi‑Fi didn’t work, there were no power outlets in the room, the pillows were too high with no alternative, the hotel entrance was slow and they didn’t answer the phone calls.

“Wunderschöne Oase, mitten in einer herrlichen Landschaft”

An extraordinary place – a beautiful oasis right in the middle of a stunning landscape. Absolute silence, a well‑maintained property, gorgeous architecture, and an atmosphere that calms you from the very first moment. The staff were warm and friendly. We were especially delighted by the breakfast, where many items are prepared in the kitchen with incredible attention to detail – from homemade preserves to a special tomato confit. The care and quality are evident everywhere. For us, this stay was something truly special and one of the most beautiful discoveries on our Portugal trip.
