“Would not stay there again”

Not much to say, except that the manager was very pleasant and he handled the noise from children running in the corridor at night. The hotel itself looked shabby, very tired, with chipped paint in the corridor, a scratched door to the room, no water in the room, and the breakfast was poor.

“Grand”

The location and room were comfortable, but the room was very small and there wasn't much choice for breakfast.

“Lovely hotel in a homely village.”

We started off with a breakfast that offered a wide range of starters, especially the wheaten bread which was delicious. The dinner was also excellent, with my husband’s steak cooked to perfection. The staff throughout our visit were friendly and eager to help, and the hotel’s warm ambience was noticeable from the moment we arrived. We couldn’t find any faults with our stay.

“Very comfortable hotel , excellent food, excellent staff”

Location was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful, dinner was excellent, good menu , Guinness was excellent, rooms clean and tidy , breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be back. There was nothing we didn’t like
