The dinosaur-themed room came with a mini‑tent and dinosaur murals, giving me a real sense of being in Fukui; the manga corner and games made the kids happy. I personally felt the buffet breakfast would have been better.

When I warned them in advance that I’d be arriving late, a kindly older staff member gave me detailed instructions. The room was supposed to include breakfast, but I was billed for it; I was confused, checked in late, felt I’d caused inconvenience, paid by card, and only after getting to the room did I confirm the charge, which led to a lengthy exchange at the front desk. Even though I showed my phone with the rate, they said the amount we’d already paid was different, and the restaurant I wanted for dinner was about to close and wouldn’t let me in. I liked the gentle gentleman who helped, but it was disappointing.
