“Un séjour exceptionnel dans un environnement respectueux de la nature”
An exceptional guesthouse. Christelle is a very caring person who knows and loves her region; her advice shaped our stay to fit our sensitivities. The setting is splendid, nature‑respecting, the room spacious, the bedding very comfortable, and the breakfast delicious (local organic products that change daily). The pastoral atmosphere is peaceful, and the 4 or 5 Gallic sheep belonging to the owner add to the décor. We also enjoyed the evening pool for a relaxing moment. Thank you, Christelle, for everything. The clock that never stops is a problem!
Very quiet location, warm host, breakfast with local products, warm pool; perhaps a bit of cheese or sausage at breakfast would have been nice.
“Zoals een B&B hoort te zijn: lokaal, sociaal, empatisch en enthousiasme! Topadres!”
The reception was warm, with a very friendly host who took the time to get to know us. The pool was pretty. The room was spacious and beautiful, with a large bed. The breakfast was extensive, featuring our own products (apple juice, eggs, preserves) and local items (bread, yogurt). For us it was a stop, but definitely a B&B to return to and stay a few days to explore Morbihan further! Nothing else.
“Leider nur eine Nacht”
Wonderful location, quiet, very friendly host, excellent breakfast.
“Lovely, peaceful place to stay, perfectly located for the Gulf of Morbihan and so much more”
A lovely spot for a Gulf of Morbihan adventure, with Christelle as a very friendly host who offered plenty of local suggestions. Le Clos du Gusquel looks stunning, like a “Grand Designs” project for UK readers, and the grounds boast a beautiful, fairly large pool that was a relief after a hot day. The guest rooms and the dining area/kitchen/lounge/terrace sit in a separate part of the house, which we appreciated. Our room was very spacious, clean, and offered a lovely view over the pool and grounds, and the area remained peaceful and quiet. A short drive away is an excellent galette restaurant, and on a couple of nights after a long day we were able to whip up something simple in the guest area. Breakfast was excellent and tasty, as other guests have noted. The region has so much to offer: we enjoyed visiting Vannes, hiking on Ile-d’Arz, biking around the standing stones in Carnac, and exploring charming small towns in the east such as Rochefort-en-Terre, La Gacilly, and Malestroit. On our way to Le Clos we also stopped in Pont-Aven, which was arty and beautiful. A wonderful few days!
