The cottage is separate, which is good. The sauna is a plus, there’s a shower and a grill. The host is very friendly and responsive, and breakfast is good. However, there’s no fridge or stove in the cottage; you can live without a stove because of the grill, but a fridge is hard to manage in summer. The host offered to store groceries for you, but it was inconvenient to ask her every time.

The owners are amazing. Their efforts let us watch the World Cup semi‑final and we received a tray of homemade goodies! The drive to get there was a fairly long gravel road.

Very friendly host. The breakfast was so generous that I could feed myself all day (the host asked me to pack the leftovers and even brought extra packing material). Finally, I got a glimpse of rural Latvia.
