Wynberg House Bed & Breakfast Swansea

Breakfast was good, and the lounge and bedroom were cozy. The bed actually had a top sheet, which was a nice change, and they supplied face washers. However, although the room had a toilet and basin, we had to climb two floors to reach a shower.

“Comfy and quiet”

What a great little find. It’s tucked into the hills yet close to the main road and shops. I loved the bed and all those little details that other hotels often miss. Clean, tidy, free street parking, and the host was brilliant. The breakfast was great, no complaints. :)

A lovely, cosy B&B. The warm welcome and small touches made it a very pleasant place to stay. Breakfast was exceptional from Melanie, with biscuits, treats, and tea/coffee in the room—perfect. Nothing was lacking; it was perfect.

“A disappointing and uncomfortable stay leading to us leaving a day early to find an alternative.”

The bed and breakfast was in a good location, and the owners added extras for guests. I didn’t like the breakfast setup—it was pre‑arranged with no choice. The owner sat with us, and I felt uneasy about the conversation. The bedroom window faced a laundry room, which didn’t suit my asthma because I need fresh air. The room was cluttered, with the owners’ belongings in the wardrobe. We had been told the dog was in a separate space, but the bowls were in the kitchen where we ate, forcing me to leave after two nights due to asthma. I asked for a refund for the third night via text and email but was ignored. We had to pay for new accommodation for that night and move to a travel lodge. The bathroom was on a separate floor, two flights up, and accessed through the owners’ living area.

Breakfast was good and the location was convenient, with a comfortable bed. The shower wasn’t warm enough, and checkout time was a bit earlier than ideal. The stairs to the first floor were very steep, which could be a problem for older guests.
