I booked through the site, paid the fees, and went to the hotel. When I asked for an extra $55, Booking said they didn’t cover my costs and that the room I got from Booking was for Egyptians, so I was told to pay the extra $55 as a Gulf guest. Booking’s handling of the client was terrible.

The young people at reception and the order takers were good. The hotel was booked through Booking for the second time, and after checking in the staff told me to pay an extra $50 because I was a Gulf guest, not an Egyptian.

The location is great, close to Abou El Abbas Square, near Maadi, and public transport is close to the metro and buses on the same street. The space is wide with a big balcony. The response to special requests for the room, like soap or towels for the next day, was slow, and the breakfast wasn’t varied enough.

The location is fine. The cleanliness and the restaurant’s location can only be reached by stairs.
