“Très bon choix d'hôtel à Aktau”

The hotel is very well situated right in the city center near the sea. The room was very spacious with a sea view. The breakfast was plentiful.

The restaurant was open late when we arrived and offered decent free breakfast options. The location was fine for our stay, but we had to walk at least 10 minutes to the restaurants and 30 minutes to the main swimming beach. The receptionist spoke only Russian but was lovely; she let us store our luggage after checkout and arranged a breakfast plate for our early start. Water dispensers on every floor meant we never had to buy water. We were given the exact room shown in the photos, but the windows opened onto the rooftop terrace bar where loud music and a DJ/singer were setting up about 3 meters away to perform at 9 pm on a Friday. The receptionist said they might not pack up until 1 am and there were no other rooms available. We had a tour booked the next morning and didn’t get much sleep. The curtains didn’t block much light, so we had to keep them closed the whole stay, otherwise anyone on the terrace would have had a full view of the room. No room cleaning was scheduled to empty the bin or replace the toilet paper, but we were able to get some extra from reception.

“Consigliato”

I loved the big rooms and the spot right by the beach and restaurants, plus the decent breakfast that was included. The only downside was that the reception staff didn’t speak English.
