We had a great room size; coming from Tokyo, we found it almost gigantic! Fresh air was the highlight. About one eighth of the window opens, perfectly adequate. The room is in very dark colors, cozy but still dark. Finally, USB sockets are distributed throughout the room! Everything else was as usual in Japan. Nearby were restaurants and the ‘Atelier du Chocolat’, where we tried, for the first time in our lives, shaved ice. We happily recommend the hotel. The only issue was that, except for the incredibly nice older gentleman who waved us off with a sparkling fire‑starter, the hotel’s English was very, very below average. But that’s typical of Hamamatsu…
