“First and last”

The location was fine. The bathroom had a musty odor, the décor felt very old‑fashioned and the place desperately needs a makeover. The room faced a ‘garden’ and was a total mess. I had to enter through a door off the kitchen and climb a steep staircase to reach my room, and I needed help moving my suitcase up. The food was okay; the fish pie was runny, the steak was fine. The waitress who served us was lovely.

Sehr nette Dame, die uns empfangen und uns die Schlüssel ausgehändigt hat. Parken auf der Straße kein Problem. Der Pub im Hotel öffnet um 17 Uhr und bot erstaunlich gutes Essen an. Schön nahe dem Meer gelegen, weit weg von allem. Es gibt nur ein Twin Room, leider nach hinten raus und nicht nach vorne zum Meer hin. Es sollte 45qm haben, wir schätzten es allerdings auf höchstens 10qm, aber sauber. Unschön war zudem, dass wir bis 16:15 auf den Check-In warten mussten, obwohl beim Buchen 15–22 Uhr angegeben war. Ein Anruf um kurz nach 15 Uhr half leider nicht, Kommentar: "we have to change that"

“Eigentlich eine Solides Hotel für 1. Stern. Ist wohö gerade etwas dumm gelaufen. Aber alle sehr nett.”

Great location for what we were looking for. It’s a shame they have a water damage issue and also don’t offer breakfast or dinner.

“Graeme England forklift instructor”

The owners were very welcoming and the food was amazing; would definitely recommend. The check‑in time was a drawback.
