“Terrible. Book somewhere else.”
Nothing. Our vacation was ruined by Jasmine herself. I’ve been itching to write this so people won’t book here, so please post it for awareness. We even reported the incident to the proper tourism authority and filed a police report. First, the owner, Jasmine, is unprofessional and unkind for running a hospitality business; she’s obsessive‑compulsive, constantly roaming the premises like a security guard watching her guests. In short, your chance to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing stay is compromised. She treats the place as her own, acting like a queen, and her noisy barking dogs can be heard while she scolds her gardener, whom she treats like a slave. Regarding cleanliness, when we entered the room, the toilet was unclean, the floor was wet and slippery, and the toilet bowl and lid still had remnants of poop from the previous guest. Even the toiletries left by the other guest were still there. It was hurriedly cleaned up. Our househelp, who was with us, voluntarily cleaned it so we could be sure of quality cleaning during our 2‑day stay. As for facilities, we booked the property because there was a shared kitchen for guests to cook, which makes sense in this remote area with no on‑site restaurant, snack bar, or nearby restaurants or stores. However, Jasmine was ranting about us paying P200 for gas usage for a simple meal. Other guests who left with cooking pans probably used her gas. We didn’t agree to pay because the package promised guests could cook. Additionally, before using the kitchen she gossiped about other guests, like Filipino guests she didn’t like compared to foreigners.
“C’est un bel emplacement avec un bon rapport qualité-prix.”
We felt very comfortable at Jasmin! She is very gentle, friendly, and discreet. The place was spotless and my room was spacious. The grounds were clean, letting our 10‑month‑old baby explore the lawn. Personally, I found the bed a bit too firm, which caused some back pain. The biggest drawback was that the Wi‑Fi in our room was very poor, though it worked well outside.
Large room. Safe. Relatively quiet. Occasionally dogs bark.
The room is bigger than it appears in the photos, and there aren’t many guests—only about two rooms. The location was perfect for me: very quiet but still close enough to town if you have a motorbike. I stayed for eight nights and my room was never cleaned, not even once. After a couple of days I asked for new towels and more toilet paper, and they said “okay” but did nothing. I didn’t expect daily cleaning; every two or three days would have sufficed, but eight days is far too long. It feels like they don’t care.
Large room and cleanliness. Quiet surroundings. Need transport.
