“Super!”

The staff were extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful, and they clearly knew how to cater to the guests staying there. Their attentiveness was impressive.

The room was large and clean, with excellent sound insulation on the windows. Inside the room there was no wardrobe, and at breakfast only white bread and a loaf of Zopf were offered. The registration form and many notices were only in English, which felt odd for a hotel in German‑speaking Switzerland.

“Für kurzen Aufenthalt perfekt”

The room and the parking right outside the hotel are great, and the breakfast is balanced and uses fresh ingredients. The staff are very kind and attentive, especially for solo travelers. There is a smoking lounge in the restaurant area, and unfortunately the smoke drifted into the dining room in the evening and even reached the reception upon arrival, which was a bit off‑putting. At 7:00 am the scrambled eggs were already quite dry – a small improvement could help. Also, having to pay extra for the coffee pods in the room felt a bit odd given the room rate.

The glass door to the bathroom offers little privacy; I would have preferred a standard door.

“Really lovely place”

I really liked the room—it was very spacious, bright, and light. It was very clean, with a good bathroom, and one of the best places we stayed on our entire trip. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was good too. I’m not sure if I’m mistaken, but I didn’t see an air‑con, or if there was, I missed it! We didn’t stay in high summer, but it would have been necessary then.
