“Worked well”
The location was solid, and there were no other issues.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and comfortable, making it a perfect stop before heading to the airport.
The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We loved dinner, but the breakfast that morning was a bit disappointing.
“Lovely stay”
We were welcomed by a friendly team, which is always a plus. The bar and dining area exude a warm, inviting vibe, and the rooms are tidy with comfortable beds and a decent shower; USB sockets by the bed are a handy touch. If you plan to bring a dog, let them know beforehand and they’ll assign a ground‑floor room—dog‑friendly, with an extra £10 per night for a blanket, bowl, and treats. All the staff we met were lovely, especially Mike, the restaurant manager, with whom we shared a laugh. The food was tasty and we enjoyed our short stay; the location works well for the Cheddar area, so I’d strongly recommend it. The only thing I wish for was a mini‑fridge for my cheese and a plug socket by the bed.
“Genieten van mooi oud hotel en fijn terras”
The staff were nice and the hotel was pleasant, but there was no fridge in the room.
