The bedding was good. The room faced the road, which wasn’t mentioned. The bathroom had no door, so there was no privacy.
I stopped at this hotel while hiking in the area and before taking the train. The hotel is decent, heavily frequented by large groups (several senior buses at once – they had warned me about that). The breakfast buffet was very generous, the room was good, and the bathroom was nice. I didn’t use the pool, sauna, etc. The noise in the restaurant was intense, and I was placed in a corner of the dining room on a poorly repaired bench; the waiter couldn’t even pass by to bring my order, so people at the neighboring table had to hand me my plates.
“Aceptable”
Breakfast was good. The bed, in the same entrance, was against a wall along the long side, and the bathroom had no shower curtain.
“Belle découverte”
The continental breakfast was perfect, complete, and tasty. The room was clean and well arranged. The staff were attentive and professional.
The location is great, close to Pic Carlit and the lake hikes. The restaurant serves excellent traditional dishes.
