Guests can enjoy table tennis, hawk feeding, and massage treatments. Rooms include Japanese-style areas, LCD TVs, and some have private open-air hot spring baths. A 25-minute drive from Kintetsu Toba Station and 1-hour from Ise Jingu Shrine.

The place has its own vibe, it’s far from the city, which allows for complete relaxation.

I enjoyed feeding the birds and the food and hot spring were good, making it a fun stay. The bus ride from Toba Station is about 30 minutes on a steep uphill road, so if you’re not comfortable with cars, keep that in mind.

The personnel were attentive and the bath was spotless, and the meals tasted great. I did notice a few drawbacks: the balcony area felt a bit off, there were no pens or similar items in the room, I would have liked orange juice among the breakfast drinks, and during the buffet the spacing between guests behind me was uncomfortably close.
