U Story Resort

The hotel is great, but it’s really far from the center of San Juan, and the entrance road could use some work. The outdoor shower and toilet aren’t my favorite, and it gets very hot during the day.

Great staff, great food, very accommodating. I wasn’t able to swim in the ocean. Tide was high and the sea was rough. Not much you can do about that!

“Top1 resort of my tour this time.”

This resort tops my list for this trip; the food is excellent, the view is stunning, and the service covers almost everything I needed. Renting a motorbike is convenient, though it’s a bit pricier than other places. They also rent swim life jackets, masks, and snorkels. The sea view is terrific and you can access it directly from the resort. Laundry service is also superb.

The hotel is excellent; it takes a bit of travel time to reach the dining area and the beautiful beaches, but otherwise it’s highly recommended.

The owners and staff are attentive to guests’ needs. When we had an AC issue, the team and the owners went above and beyond to fix it, find a solution, and even compensated us for the downtime. The resort sits on the water line, and the rooms are pretty and clean—highly recommended. I’ll definitely return if I visit Sykiahor in the future, even though it’s a 10‑minute drive from the restaurants; that’s a plus in my book. The only downside is the cost of extras beyond the room rate and the distance from the center.
