Nestled on a tranquil street, Thalia Palermo offers stylish guest rooms with free WiFi, air‑conditioning, and private bathrooms. Each room features a tea and coffee maker, bidet, hairdryer, refrigerator, work desk, microwave, TV, soundproofing, and electric kettle. A 13‑minute walk brings guests to Palermo Cathedral, while Fontana Pretoria and Teatro Massimo lie nearby.

The proximity to the center and the air‑conditioned accommodation were positives, but on closer inspection the mattress and sheets had stains, the shower was somewhat worn and not 100 % clean, and the bed was the worst imaginable – hard and uncomfortable.

The bed quality was poor, the ground floor looked dreadful and the whole area, including the house entrance, was dirty and spooky; the floor in the accommodation was filthy.

The apartment’s location was good, the neighborhood was quiet and only a 10‑minute walk from Palermo’s center, the room was spacious and clean, and the guy who coordinated the place let us drop our bags on the day of departure, which was very kind. The rooms were interior and lacked much light, and we were charged a 16 € tourist tax for two nights, which was much higher than elsewhere on the island.
