The breakfast was amazing, surpassing any 4‑ or 5‑star hotel we’ve stayed in; it was truly exceptional. I couldn’t find anything to dislike.

“Wonderful experience”

The hotel is really lovely, with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe, yet it keeps a professional standard at all times. The food was fantastic, the rooms tastefully decorated and modern, and the shower was wonderful with a comfortable bed. I enjoyed the little extras, like the Times crossword on the bar tables in the morning and the binoculars left in the bedroom for watching nature; someone has a great eye for small details that make all the difference. I couldn’t find anything to dislike at the Doonmore. The setting is fabulous and the view from the bedroom window is simply beautiful and unparalleled anywhere.
