Black Bull Hotel

“Superb”

Nothing not to like. The room was pretty big, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great. The bar was nice and the restaurant and food were excellent. Small point, the car park at the back would be even better for motorcycles if it was tarmaced

“Fantastic place to stay, lovely owners and great staff”

I was blown away by the rooms and the owners—everything was fantastic, no complaints at all!

“An enjoyable stay in one of the new rooms.”

We pre‑ordered breakfast the night before and it was ready the next morning exactly as promised; we also dined at the on‑site restaurant both evenings. On arrival the heating was off and the room felt cool, but the staff fixed it after we mentioned it. We had booked dinner for both nights and told the front desk at check‑in, yet no table was reserved for the second evening—luckily a spot opened up.

“Lovely place with nicely decorated rooms”

The staff were wonderful; even though we arrived after check‑in time they waited for us and were very accommodating. Breakfast was lovely, offering hot pre‑order options. The rooms and en‑suite bathrooms were a bit small, but still clean and pleasant.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the products were good quality. During dinner the staff were a touch inattentive and forgot our wine order, among other small oversights.
