The place was clean and quirky, though we had to turn the fridge on.

The layout gives it the vibe of a hostel or boarding house, with bathrooms in the hallway instead of in the rooms. Directions and instructions for your stay were clear, rooms and amenities were clean, and the bar attached to the place made for a fun atmosphere; locals offered great food recommendations. There isn’t a traditional parking lot, but plenty of side‑street parking is available.

We booked a room at this hotel, but when we arrived the whole place smelled like cat dander and I’m allergic to cats; we saw two cats that live there, they were okay but the smell was disgusting and we didn’t want to share the bathroom with everyone else staying there. Our room was just a bed and a dresser with no place to hang clothes, so we didn’t stay and had to find another hotel. If the room had a private bathroom, a place to hang clothes, and smelled fresh we would have been fine staying there; I didn’t like that the bathroom wasn’t private, there was no place to put luggage or hang clothes, and I didn’t like the cat smell.
