Located in the historic centre of Melnik, the Mario Complex comprises two buildings, Complex Mario and Hotel Mario, 100 metres apart. Hotel Mario's air-conditioned rooms feature private bathrooms, satellite TVs, and fridges, with many offering panoramic views of the Sandstone Pyramides. The complex includes a small outdoor pool, outdoor kitchen with barbecue, and a supermarket, as well as organized trips to the nearby Rojenski Monastery.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the central spot in Melnik was great, but the double room had a sewage smell in the bathroom while the quadruple room was nicer.

The complex was wonderful, a cozy and quiet place. The owner was extremely courteous and responsive, the kitchen food was very tasty, and the whole staff were very kind, friendly, and smiling—touching our hearts. We’ll visit again with pleasure.
